City Rehab Ltd are looking for a keen, hardworking and reliable Physiotherapist and Sport Rehabilitation Graduate (GSR) for our growing clinic near Liverpool City Centre.
Physiotherapy applicants must be CSP and HCPC registered, GSR applicants must be BASRaT accredited. You should have previous experience managing a variety of musculoskeletal injuries / conditions and experience in the sport setting. The applicant must be comfortable working alone, as well as part of a team and would be expected to work a total of to 2-3 clinic days a week (days and hours to be discussed).
Facilities include reception, treatment rooms and comprehensive functional rehabilitation room (over £30,000 of rehab equipment) consisting of, but not limited to, Olympic squat /power rack, Watt bike, treadmill, free weights with bench, plyometric boxes and hurdles, video imagery software, hand held and dynamometer muscle testers, Compex Muscle stimulation and functional training rigs. This ensures that our patients can address their specific needs in clinic ensuring a safe return to activity. It is expected that the applicant make full use of these rehab facilities that set our clinic apart from others that are in the Liverpool area.
Applicants must be able to competently manage a varied caseload of patients with MSK conditions and will have in house training on all equipment / screening protocols as well as one to one access with the clinical director 1 day per week to review case load and progress clinically.
Patient demographic: a close link with the Liverpool dancing community, professional gymnasts, adult and paediatric cases and links with local running and sports clubs, which will ensure that your development will be spread across a wide variety of sports and ages. We also have strong links with local companies that supply us with occupational health related injuries, as well as neurological /spinal conditions and insurance patients. This ensures that your development as a therapist will be as rounded as possible.
We are also keen advocates of social media meaning that the applicant must show an active interest in promoting the clinic through these mediums to encourage further referrals.
Essential Physiotherapy requirements:
• HCPC registered
• CSP registered
• Full driving license
• 2 years of qualified experience
• Ability to effectively manage your own patient case loads
• Ability to devise and explain progressive functional rehab plans to patients
Essential GSR requirements:
• BASRaT registered
• Full driving license

Desirable:
• Previous experience in sports injuries/sport setting
• Biomechanical analysis experience
• Extensive rehabilitation skills
• Acupuncture qualification
Salary:
Salary: £24,000 - 30,000 Pro Rata depending upon experience and qualifications.
